The ongoing WWII marathon started off with a measly 8-9 films, but now it has ballooned to 17. I can't help it, I just keep adding stuff. John Frankenheimer's The Train ('64), which I hear is awesome, and Robert Aldrich's The Dirty Dozen ('67) are the two newest entries.

"The Train" is well worth it. I'd also recommend "Battle of the Bulge" which features some great cinematography.
ReplyDeleteHaha, "Battle of the Bulge" is on the list, too. I actually haven't watched it yet, but it's on my DVR.
ReplyDeleteAnd I actually just finished "The Train" and loved it.
